~Lalita Sahasranama~

“Lalita Sahasranama” is a sacred Hindu text that is found in the “Brahmanda Purana.”

This is an important text for those who worship the goddess, Lalita Devi, also known as the Divine Mother or Durga.

Lalita is known as the Goddess of Bliss and her name can be translated to English as “she who plays” or “spontaneous.” This name is also given to Parvati, the wife of Shiva.

  1. Well, In order to have a connection with the supreme godhead, recitation gives you the energy to earn the divine grace. It is a factual reality of the glorious conscious being and hence acknowledgement is pertinent. That’s why this verse in Lalitha Sahasranamam defines it finely – Antarmukha Samaradhya Bahirmukha Sudurlabha – Translated as such – She is easily attainable when looked within and difficult when looked for externally.
