Insanity, what if we went insane
What if your biggest fear was to loose touch with reality
Everything you once knew melting into oblivion and to never come back
I know you’re scared
How do you explain a tangled web of yourself to your therapist, oh the mess we formulate albielt sometimes unconsciously
We devour ourselves
And yet wonder where we where we have gone
A caricature of humanity
Hanging ourselves on the lamina of choices
Zeroes and ones
Binary oscillations
Our destinies coded into the omnipresent
To be or no to be
To exist or not
To pursue answers beyond liminal insanity bounds
A choice to detect, accept or reject
The very existence of choice
Dictates free will
Or so we would believe and feel and excuse
And imagine to be free
But always end up in the laps of our responsible making
Exactly where we are meant to be
Forsaking
Burning limbs continue
Stagnant yet progressive
The fall occurred in the realms of obsessive
Do not tell me anything of insanity I catch a whiff in the winds
And intrude on my normality
A lethal self-imposed ignorance
If I shall burn, then I shall burn like Icarus
Mesmerised and entranced by the sun
Euphorically and foolishly in love with Spirit.
