Poetry {13} ~ SOLD SOUL TO BIG PHARMA

Claustrophobic numb miserable shell

Glass shards jabbing from within this body meat suit hell

Which way to go, left or right?

It doesn’t matter, far from alright

Eyes glazed, slacking in bright

Sold soul to pharmaceutical companies

To fill their greedy economies

Muffled vision, decaying immune system, stagnant waters I tread

Shifting personalities full of dread

Zombie stale habitionalites

I don’t know who or what I am turned into

Now I can’t live a day without swallowing you

Slowly letting go, silently crying

Days are numbered, slowly dieing

Implying you want to fix the world’s problems by stating the symptoms

Begin to dig the root

They’ll tear away your health

Then steal all your wealth

There’s no profit in a world where health exists

Disease and illness is that which they push and persists.

Poetry {12} ~ UNDERWORLD TREASURES

Her crown and glory writhing and hissing, rising then tasting the air

Man averted his eyes and medusa grinned in her underwater lair

She knew mere morals could not appreciate her rare beauty stare

Be an admirer, explore the underwater hidden beauty treasures

Leaving behind predetermined societal measures

Bioluminescence lit up the waters above

Jellyfish swimming in and out of man-made discarded masks and a hospital glove

Be an eccentric captivated by the whisperings of the heavens below

Neon purple and greens, an ephemeral glow

The underwater world yet to be explored by human beings

What myths and legends will remain true in our seeings?

~Ashram~

An ashram is the name traditionally given to a spiritual hermitage or a Hindu monastery. It can be used to describe the place where a spiritual or religious guru and their disciples live. The term may also be used to describe the community of people who reside in such a place.

Ashrams are usually secluded places separated from the rest of society. They are places devoted to spiritual activities like yoga, meditation or religious instruction.

From the Sanskrit root word srama, ashram means “making an effort toward liberation.”

~Udaram~

Udaram is a Sanskrit term derived from the root word, udara, meaning “active.” It is one of the four stages of the kleshas, or mental states that are obstacles to enlightenment and cause suffering.

Udaram is the natural, active stage in which the klesha is in the forefront. For example, when the klesha of attachment (raaga) is in the udaram stage, the yogi will feel desire for things, status or other attachments that leads to anxiety and worry. Others kleshas mentioned in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras are delusion (avidya), egoism (asmita), repulsion (dvesha) and will to live (abhinivesha).

~Parigraha~

Parigraha is the concept of possessiveness and greed. It also refers to the desire for and attachment to material things. The word comes from the Sanskrit, pari, meaning “on all sides,” and graha, meaning “to grab.” Therefore, the term may be translated as “taking more than one needs.”

In yoga, parigraha is the opposite of aparigrapha (non-possessiveness). Striving for aparigraha, or eliminating parigraha, is one of the yamas (restraints) that the sage, Patanjali, lists in his Yoga Sutras.

~Obsession~

Obsession stems from desiring more than you are able to receive, which is why it burns so deeply when wanting the things you don’t personally have. It’s also why the ego is capable of desiring and seeking out such things. When wanting more than you are able to receive, the ego is set on-course in an attempt to seek out, negotiate, bargain or attract the very things it wants, creating the perfect environment for endless seeking to unfold. Because receiving is an attribute of the soul, the ego is only capable of seeking and nothing more. When unaware of this truth, the ego plays its role of leading you to falsely believe how much better you will be — once the things you are unable to receive have somehow been tracked down. ~ Matt Kahn

Poetry {1} ~ THE DREAMERS & THE WAKERS

Diamond refracting fractals

Human family anatomical dactyl

Omnipresent permeating tactile

Reflecting forevermore spirited

Expanding unprecedented unlimited

Infinite soul incarnations

Siddhi sensory levitation

Null comprehension of causation

Eternal universal duration

Spinning into and through creation

We unify within the birth of the same maker

We are the dreamers and the wakers.
