“When you are writing laws you are testing words to find their utmost power. Like spells, they have to make things happen in the real world, and like spells, they only work if people believe in them.” ~ Hilary Mantel, Wolf Hall

So what does a spell actually mean?

Not everyone can comprehend what the word ‘spell’ means due to its stereotyping in movies we’ve seen throughout our lives. People often think of spell casting as obscure and dangerous, practices cast by mystic witches. Modern witchcraft is a reliable, spiritual way to express your deepest desires and make them come true. A spell is a type of ritual in which you need to work with your intentions, energy, and spiritual force to fulfill the particular purposes that you intend.

And what is spell casting you may ask?

Casting a spell is performing a ritual act activating an energetic ripple towards the path you want your life to go. In order to achieve the goal, it’s significant to show the symbol of your dedication which includes your focus, energy and effort that you put in performing the ritual. Show your gratitude to your Higher Self or Deity of your choosing at the end of a session to thank them for their connection and for positively changing your life. The secret of this realm is to balance your subconscious mind and true purposes of your Higher Self which may be hidden. Make sure you are extremely clear about what you truly want. Two key elements for effective magic spells are belief and focus.

How do we cast spells?

~Objects. There are spells requiring some particular objects to strengthen the magical endeavour. For a spell cast at home, some popular ingredients are paper, honey, herbs (cinnamon, black pepper, and other spices), and essential oils. In addition you could use healing crystals, sage and palo santo to enhance your ritual to cleanse your space when opening and closing a ritual.

~Potions. Cauldrons could be needed, you can use your cooking pots in the kitchen. Keep in mind that once a certain object is repurposed and deemed for the enchantment, it naturally becomes a magical device. Mystical tools maintain energy, you must regularly clean them so that they will always be magical and no residue of past spell casting is left behind energetically.

~Location. When finding a place for your spell casting incantation of your choosing, physical doorsills are considered as cosmic entrances. Now look around your house and keep an eye on doorways, window sills, and cracks in the floorboards – those locations symbolize the space between the spiritual world and physical world. Once you choose a place to craft your spell, make sure to keep any door you open closed by performing a formal ritual or just chanting the ‘goodbye’ word.

~Altar. Spellcasters have no problems working their magic without any ritual. Some will make use of a table found at home and cover the surface with a white clean cloth, while others just sit on the floor. If you usually look for free magic spells online, you will easily notice that they mention the word ‘altar’ in every spell. Why? You need a personal sacred place for the magic to manifest well.

~Intention. What is your intent? What do you want to achieve? When working with the universe, you have to be as specific as possible or it may bring confusions to your spell. Moreover, avoid using negative words or sentences, have good purposes; your wish or desire is for your own good or for the happiness of everyone. The spell is more likely to work if both your intention and thought are pure and have no traces of negativity.

~Candles. The act of lighting a candle in the ritual indicates the start of a change which is about to happen in your life. In the magical realm, candles are commonly used because of their powerful spiritual connection. Each segment of a candle is associated with a different element of the universe: Since the flame is considered as the purifier of all energies, it represents the Fire element.
-The hot wax melting and dripping down is the image of Water.
-The wax indicates the Earth element as it’s connected to nature.
-Lastly, the smoke from the flame embodies the Air element.

~Meditation. Meditate on your goal, the very first step is to empty your mind, and then focus only on the ultimate purpose that you truly want. According to spellcasters, meditation is very significant in the art of casting magic spells.

~Chanting or prayer. After staying fixed on your intentions by meditating and visualizing, you can chant a spell or say some magic words. With this step, you will send your messages to the universe.

Your life will be uplifted with a touch of magic. Keep in mind that negative emotions are never good for the magic spell casting process. Eliminate your fear, anxiety, and envy before casting your own spell. We hope this article can help you succeed in your magical endeavors.

“A witch is a woman who emerges from deep within herself. She is a woman who has honestly explored her light and learned to celebrate her darkness. She is a woman who is able to fall in love with the magnificent possibilities of her power. She is a woman who radiates mystery. She is magnetic. She is a witch.” ~ Dasha Elliot

Did You Know {1} ~ How Did Hollywood Get It’s Name?

The holly tree was used by Druids who were known for being priests and also wizards. The character of Merlin in the legend of King Arthur was a Druid wizard and he used a wand made of holly wood. Hollywood movies are forms of sorcery using psychology, subliminal messages, and manifestation through what is called “lesser magic” and bewitchment.

Movies pushed what was acceptable with each passing year and immorality was blatantly promoted in many films. Today, it has only gotten worse. Movies have depicted every sin imaginable.

Beside the blatant perversion displayed in many films, all Hollywood films have the same source: they come from a movie system called Hollywood. Holly wood is a substance used by the Druids of ancient England. Ancient druids cut branches from holly trees which they fashioned into magic wands used for casting spells.

This spell-casting with magic wands continues to this day in the form of Hollywood movies (as well as in its original form as a wand). It can be proven that nearly all Hollywood movies have subliminal messages, occultic references, and hidden Masonic / Illuminati symbolism throughout. Square and compass symbols, all-seeing-eye symbols, the number 33, the number 666, pentagrams (upside-down, five-pointed stars), satanic symbols, satanic “as-above-so-below” symbols, and other symbols occur in numerous scenes throughout most Hollywood movies and TV shows. Some are more blatant, while others are more subtle.
